Becalmed is a sci-fi short film set for release in 2023. The film follows a pair of deep space scrap collectors on a salvage mission who fall into the gravitational pull of a black hole, with seemingly no hope of rescue the pair are slowly driven insane.

Working as a gaffer on a film set entirely in a studio was a new challenge which required a new approach to lighting which I haven't experienced before, however it also allowed the opportunity to light the set with more powerful lights than I have been able to use before.
